How often do I refill it?
For most pots, once every one to two weeks. Larger or thirstier plants may need topping up a little more often — you'll quickly learn your plant's rhythm.
Does it work indoors and outdoors?
Both. Ollas began as an outdoor irrigation tool and work beautifully in pots, beds, and gardens as well as indoor plants — just refill a little more often in peak heat.
Will roots grow into it?
Roots grow toward the moisture around the olla, but the sealed clay wall keeps them outside the vessel. If you ever repot, the Nawa lifts out cleanly.
How long does it last?
Indefinitely, with care. Terracotta is durable and ages gracefully — an occasional rinse keeps the pores breathing freely for years.
